For Kids
In Wisconsin, there is nothing better than spending time with your family and friends on a boat having fun catching fish, swimming and going tubing and waterskiing in a lake, skipping rocks and throwing a stick for your dog to retrieve in a river and catching frogs and crawfish in a stream. The one thing all the activities listed above require before we can all enjoy hanging around and in a stream, river or lake is that the water must be clean.
Unfortunately, pollution coming from our homes, schools, restaurants, malls, and parent’s offices are causing some of our streams, rivers and lakes to become unhealthy to the point where it is unsafe for us to swim in and animals and fishes to live in.
To stop this problem from happening or continuing, we need everyone to become involved. Click on the following links to understand the problem and find out ways to fix the problem. Also, learn and have fun while playing many of the games listed.
